4 Different Ways To NATURALLY Do "The Nude Lip."

♥4 Different Ways To NATURALLY Do...
                "The Nude Lip."♥

The Nude Lip craze is something that will never die down or go away...ever. It's a simple way to tone down any dramatic eye makeup or any outfit. It matches everything. And it's very natural.

Although, it is a little hard to find the exact lip product and in the perfect shade. It has taken me years! 2 or 3 to be exact. Tons of trial and errors with products and colours. Either they were too light and I looked a little crack-ey or they were too dark. Sometimes the products was too dry and made my lips look and feel like...just hell. Let's just say that. Sometimes the products were too shiny or the products wasn'tt thick/solid enough and therefore it was streaky.

Ugh! Enough already!

So, during the few years that I have been searching for my perfect nude, I've found a few product and shades that have worked well for me! I'm mixed and so that makes it a little harder to find a nude. You can go either way : dark or light. But it's never truly right.

It's also a little funny to see girls that just can't get it together and their nude lip looks a little...like...skin discoloration and that's not what we want. So, I'm here to help you all, especially those with in between skin complexions to do the infamous Nude Lip.

"Kota, what do you mean by naturally?" Well, I'll tell ya! No, not by using natural, organic products, I mean by making it look as though as if you lip is literally that colour. Therefore, the product isn't going to be too matte or too shiny. The certain way and area you apply it helps give it that effect. In the meantime...on to look #1!

Look #1 : As Natural As You Can Get!

The first thing you want to do is buff your lips. Really good! This is the first out of the two key's to mastering these looks.
Once you're done with that, you need to apply lip balm! I am using...

Maybelline's Baby Lips Dr.Rescue in I think, I'm not totally sure, in Berry Soft ($3.50). Don't worry, these hardly give off colour so they won't mess up your nude colour. Very sheer. But you don't have to use this, you can use any lip balm, preferably your favourite! This is the other key to masterization! A lot of nude products tend to dry out your lips more than any other colour, for whatever reason so ALWAYS be sure to apply lip balm.

Once your done with applying your lip balm, next you want to apply some lipstick!

The lip colour I am using is Maybelline's Color Sensational The Buffs in Blushing Beige ($5.50). You want to then apply it on all over your lips. No specific way to do this one because the colour is a little sheer and more shimmery, it won't make a difference.

The Result!

My two bottom teeth look even more out of place here...

So, as you can see, it's a very sheer, shimmering nude colour. It is seriously, as natural as you can get. You can, if you want, apply more layers but then it will look a little weird and of course, non-natural and not nude at all. It's a very light lip colour and it is my go-to nude. I wear this product when I do my everyday look...everyday! I do have to apply once later on if I'm really busy. It's just that light.
On to the next look!

Look #2 : Thick But Almost There!

Of course you want to start fresh and apply lip balm.

Then you want to apply Too Faced La Creme Nude Beach ($22) to your lips. Applying a little bit more pressure than usual and swiping it all on your lips.

The Result!

The thing is with this product, it's going to feel a little thick on your lips but the look is truly worth it.
But, last but hardly the least is the final look!

Look #3 : The Perfect Natural Nude Lip

Again, buff and apply lip balm.

Sephora doesn't put names or anything on their lipstick...thing...sticks. But I do have pictures.

You want to apply that only on the top and bottom edges of your lips. Don't worry about meeting at the corners, it doesn't matter. It'll all blend in the end.

Then blend the harsh edges with your fingertip.

Downward=Bottom Lip
Upward=Top Lip

Then you want to take the Too Faced Nude Beach and apply that in the middle and blending it with the Sephora lip colour.

The Result!

You can even apply Loreal's leGloss Colour Riche Lip Gloss in Baby Blossom ($6). It blends the two product and colours better and gives it a cute flirty finish. To be honest, I hate matte nude lips. It's unnatural and just not cute.

So, there you go! A little picture heavy but, good information. As you can see I have natural pink lips and if I can get a good nude going, so can you!

Sparkly Milk Nail PICTORIAL.

        ♥Sparkly Milk Nail Pictorial!♥

Weird nail name right? I don't know. I thought it was cute. It may looks like I did a sloppy job and that the nail polish is on my skin, that's just Vaseline because I put that on before and after so my skin can be very moisturized (and shiny) because, I have bad dry skin around my nails and I pick...at...the skin.

Anywho! I really like pastel or nude nail colours because their subtle, soft, girly and simple. And adding some sparkles really make them even more girly! I also like my nails to have the illusion of being fake. So I add lots of top coat and I shape them a weird, certain way to appear fake. Weird, I know.

But, this is a nail tutorial that I literally just came up with last night and tried. It was my first time and I know in the future I can tweak it and make it even better. It's a step up from my typical go-to nails which I will have a tutorial for sometime soon! The nails give me a very simple and natural dolly vibe but more of a Eoljjang look. I know most people type Ulzzang but I never know how many a's or z's to put. I usually end up typing it like this : Ullzzaang.
I also write it romanized because that's easier for me and let's people know that how you actually pronounce it.

Well, I just went way off, let's start the pictorial!

Products Used.

Loreal's how romantic : $5
Revlon's Top Speed Jaded : $5
Q's #35. : .99

The Q brand, I got at my local beauty supply so...yeah.

Make sure your nails are clean of any previous polished, trimmed and filed.

You NEED to apply 3 coats because Loreal's nail polish is a very water based and it makes it hard for the pastel colours to show. Also, by doing 3 coats, you'll really get that milky effect.

When you dab the the tissue on the nail, apply more pressure at the top and less and less when going down the nail. Go about 3/4 of the way down to get that gradient/ombre effect. You'll need to work quickly because the nail polish dries quickly on the tissue. You'll need to reapply several times.

Apply the Q nail polish the same as you did with the Revlon, more at the top and less at the bottom.

You can add more top coat to blend everything together better.

Finishing Product!

Total Cost For Today's Look:$10.99

♥SIMPLE Dolly Wink Nail Pictorial.♥

              ♥First Nail Pictorial!

Hey lovelies~! This is my first ever nail pictorial. It's not the best but think, I've never truly done this before so...cut me a little slack? They will get better in the future, I promise. For those of you that aren't familiar with Dolly Wink, let me break it down for ya!

Dolly Wink,Candy Doll, S-Leg and whatever else product names she has, are makeup, circle lense and clothing by the most famous Gyaru ever! Tsubasa Masukawa. I haven't had the luxury to try any of her products yet but I know for a fact I will in the future!

Tsubasa Masukawa.

Here are a few examples of some of her Dolly Wink products.

As you can tell, her signature is black polka dots on a pastel pink background. She incorporates other colours as well but you'll mainly see the pink. Now, I didn't include any polka dots in this tutorial because I wanted it to be EXTREMELY simple and easy. I will do a more advanced Dolly Wink tutorial sometime soon though.

Now, I only used 3 products for this look.

1. i pink i'm in love Loreal nail polish. $5

2. Any black nail polish will do.

I've had this one so long, the label rubbed off. I got it from my local beauty supply store for only 99cents.

                     3. Sally Hansen's Big Matte Top Coat $5.50

Of course, make sure your nails are clean of any previous nail polish. Make sure they're clipped and filed.

First, we're going to apply the Loreal nail polish on every nail EXCEPT the middle finger nail.

Ooh, look at that freakishly amazing thumb nail bend.

Then, we're going to apply our black nail polish to the middle finger nail.

Lastly, we're going to apply our matte top coat onto the BLACK NAIL POLISH ONLY.

AND NOW YOU'RE DONE!
The matte will reduce the shine and give it a more classic and girly look instead of rawr! vampire.

I tried to take a picture of my nails to show the difference between the matte and the regular non-clear coated pink nails.

You can easily see that it's not as shiny.

And yes, these are MY nails. I don't do fake because...I have no reason to. But, I do have a rounded nail bed which can be a little annoying sometimes.

FINISHING PRODUCT!

Add something polka dotted to your outfit to give it more of that Dolly Wink feel.
No makeup today, going to play in water!

Total Cost For Today's Look:$11.50 (depending on what black nail polish brand you used)
